What exactly are UV lashes?
UV lashes are still lash extensions — the difference is in the adhesive. Instead of waiting for the adhesive to cure naturally, a specialized UV light cures it almost instantly as each extension is applied.

Which one is right for me?
Both are great options. Traditional adhesive is the method I’ve trusted and used for years, and it isn’t going anywhere. UV lashes simply give you another option with a different curing method. Your lash look is still completely customized to you.
Is UV light safe near my eyes?
The UV light is used in very short, controlled bursts to cure the adhesive at the lash line. Your eyes remain closed throughout the service, and protective measures are used during application. Exposure is kept brief and targeted specifically to the adhesive.
Can I still have an allergic reaction to UV lash adhesive?
Yes. UV lash adhesive can still contain ingredients that may cause sensitivity or an allergic reaction. UV curing does not make lash adhesive allergy-free. If you’ve had a previous reaction to lash extensions, please contact me before booking so we can discuss whether UV lashes may be appropriate for you.
What are the benefits of UV lashes?
The adhesive cures almost instantly with controlled UV light, making the bond less dependent on room humidity and temperature. For some clients, this can mean more consistent retention and less waiting for the adhesive to finish curing after the appointment.
Do UV lashes last longer?
They can for some clients, but retention varies from person to person. UV adhesive creates an immediately cured bond, which can help provide more consistent results. Your natural lash cycle, aftercare, skin type and lifestyle still play a role in how long your extensions last.
Can I switch to UV lashes if I already have traditional lash extensions?
Absolutely! You don’t need to remove your current lashes or start with a new full set. At your regular fill, I can begin using UV adhesive for the new extensions I apply. When booking your regular lash fill, simply choose the UV Lash Upgrade from the Add-On menu.
Does a UV lash appointment take longer?
Not necessarily. The application process is very similar—the main difference is that I use a small UV light to cure the adhesive as I work. Once we’re both used to the new rhythm, your appointment time should be very similar to a traditional lash service.
